Dear Friends of Shadow Buddies,

Our 30th annual fundraiser, “Team Shadow Buddies – Scoring A Victory for Children”, will be held on Friday, September 19th at Westin Kansas City at Crow Center located in Kansas City, Missouri.  As you can imagine, community support is extremely important to the Shadow Buddies Foundation, and we are asking for your help to support our silent and live auction. 

Shadow Buddies are condition specific dolls that provide both educational and emotional support to thousands of medically challenged children and their families.  Shadow Buddies started with only 4 Buddies in 1995 and today, has now grown to include 40 condition specific Buddies that bring smiles to children in all 50 states and 21 countries around the world.  Over 2.5 million Buddies have been distributed to families and children in need.   

The Shadow Buddies Foundation is in the process of collecting and soliciting items for the silent auction.  We are writing to request your assistance in making our event a HUGE success by donating an item for the event. All donations are tax deductible, and your contribution will ensure that the Shadow Buddies Foundation will continue to help make a difference in the lives of thousands of medically challenged children and their families. 

Additionally, you’ll benefit from exposure of your company’s name or yourself individually to those who attend the event. Donors will be listed in the event program and the merchandise you give will be on display through the program.  If fortunate enough to be given a donation for our auction, a committee member will contact you to make the arrangements to pick-up the item, or you can contact the Shadow Buddies Foundation office at 913-642-4646 or send an email to us at buddies@shadowbuddies.org
